Oldest Duggar child to wed
Josh Duggar, the oldest of the Duggar’s 17 children, is engaged to be married. Joshua proposed to Anna Keller on June 23rd. Their engagement is to be 3 months and 3 days. They have set the wedding date for September 26th, 2008 at 7PM at Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard, Florida.
They are registered at Walmart and Bed Bath and Beyond.
My favorite item on the Walmart registry is the 8 GB iPod Touch. Or maybe it’s the Arkansas car flag.

aka We’re not going to be using birth control and will stop having kids when we are no longer able to conceive. That’s the Duggar spirit!

They ACTUALLY registered for Skittles, TIc Tacs, and Whoppers…and some have already been purchased. Nice. Real nice.

Imagine the thank you notes:
“Dear Aunt Darla: Thank you so much for the cokes and Solo plastics cups. We think they’ll go great together! You know how much we like the red kind.”
Maybe they’re planning a junk food binge honeymoon. But I tell you what, I’d rather have some beef jerky than fine china any day.

I believe they have items like candy so the younger kids could give them something. That’s what I’ve read anyway.

That’s sweet.
They have registered for some very nice things at Bed Bath and Beyond. Not that it is anyone’s business what a couple needs or wants. I know my dh and I registered for what seems like some silly things now, but I got everything I registered for and hope they do too.
Just because one doesn’t have the same belief as they do regarding their fertility doesn’t mean they should be bashed or frowned upon. Until you walk a mile in their shoes…if you can’t say something nice, you shouldn’t say anything at all.
BTW, I only have 2 children.

I find the Duggar family inspiring. I too, only have two children, and couldn’t handle more, but Jim Bob and Michele do a fantastic job with their family. I just wish there were more parents instilling love and respect in their children. The world would be a better place. God Bless the Duggars!

Do you think they will move into the Duggar house with all the other folks? What a way to start a marriage! Just think if Michelle keeps having babies, and Anna has some, there could be children and grandchildren the same age. Weird.

The Keller family is great, we lived near them in Florida for several years, went to church with them, and their kids were good friends with my 5 kids. I hope Anna and Josh all the best in their new relationship and as many children as is in the Lord’s will for them. I also second the beef jerky options, yummy
They showed the home on tv that Anna and Josh are having remodeled for them to live in.
